Funk Fest Tour has announced its lineup for its launch in Orlando, Florida, on June 3 and June 4. Legendary R&B acts Mary J. Blige and Jodeci are set to headline the family reunion-style event.
Blige will grace the main stage at Central Florida Fairgrounds on Friday, June 3. She will be supporting her latest album, Good Morning Gorgeous, which was released in February. Of course, she will revisit some of her most iconic hits and fan-favorite anthems.
Before she hits the stage, Grammy-winning singer Jazmine Sullivan will perform. Like Blige, Sullivan also released a project in February — Heaux Tales, Mo’ Tales: The Deluxe. R&B songbird Tweet is also scheduled to perform, as well as rapper Trina.
On Saturday, June 3, the gentlemen of R&B will take over the main stage. Jodeci, who recently wrapped up The Culture Tour with New Edition and Charlie Wilson, is at the top of the bill.
Anthony Hamilton, who will be fresh off Maxwell’s Night Tour, will be present to support his latest album, Love Is The New Black. The self-proclaimed love king Raheem DeVaughn and former Bad Boy Entertainment artist Carl Thomas are also on the lineup.
