Rick Ross is breathing a sigh of relief following a significant legal victory. The rapper has successfully escaped felony battery by strangulation and misdemeanor battery charges, which have now been dropped. These legal challenges stemmed from an incident that occurred this past August at the artist’s Miami residence, as alleged by his former girlfriend, Jazzma Kendrick.

In a video shared across his social media platforms, Rick Ross was seen celebrating the news with a bottle of alcohol in hand, taking a moment to publicly acknowledge the hard work of his legal counsel.

During the broadcast, the rapper specifically praised Steve Sadow, labeling him the “best defence attorney in the game.” He also extended his appreciation to Bradley Horenstein, noting that he “had his boots on the ground” throughout the duration of the case.

“My lead attorney, Steve Sadow, I want to thank you for being who you are, what you are, and always bringing the truth to light,” Ross stated, further emphasizing his personal friendship with Sadow. Regarding Horenstein’s contributions, he added, “This is for Bradley Horenstein, a major part of my legal team… He had his boots on the ground making things happen, connecting all the dots.”

While the most serious felony charges have been dismissed, Rick Ross currently continues to face a domestic violence misdemeanor charge, to which he has entered a plea of “not guilty.”
