Mariah Carey is taking over McDonaldâ€™s, dahling. The Queen of Christmas announced on Wednesday The Mariah Menu, in partnership with the fast-food chain.
The Mariah Menu will be available in the US from Dec. 13 through Dec. 24. Customers will be eligible to receive a free item from McDonaldâ€™s menu each day with a $1 minimum purchase on the McDonaldâ€™s app.
â€œSome of my favorite memories with my kids are our family trips to McDonaldâ€™s, and of course, each of us has our go-to order. Mine is the Cheeseburger, and I get it with extra pickles,â€ Carey said in a press release. â€œBringing together some of our favorite food from McDonaldâ€™s with my all-time favorite season is a holiday wish come true.â€
Jennifer Healan, McDonaldâ€™s USAâ€™s VP of US Marketing, Brand Content and Engagement, added, â€œMariah goes with the holidays like ketchup and fries, so we couldnâ€™t think of a better partner to help us celebrate the upcoming season,â€ said . â€œJust like McDonaldâ€™s brings people around the table with their favorite orders, Mariahâ€™s music connects us all during this time of the year. Weâ€™re so excited to team up to bring even more holiday cheer to our fans.â€
The Mariah Menu items will be served in fun and festive packaging inspired by Careyâ€™s love for the holidays and chic style.
Careyâ€™s latest collaboration comes just days after announcing the limited Mariah Carey Holiday Collection, inspired by her modern-day classic and Billboard Hot 100 chart-topper â€œAll I Want For Christmas Is You.â€
In other news, Carey recently teamed up with Khalid and Kirk Franklin for a new festive song called â€œFall in Love at Christmas.â€ It will be featured in Careyâ€™s upcoming Apple TV+ special, Mariahâ€™s Christmas: The Magic Continues, which will premiere in December. Carey, Khalid and Franklin will perform the festive song for the first and only time.
