Future reveals that he’s in “album mode”
Future is currently enjoying the massive success that he experienced, in 2022. That came after releasing his ninth studio album, “I Never Liked You,” that spring. As a result, that went on to become Future’s seventh straight number one studio album. Furthermore, he also won a Grammy this past spring, for Best Melodic Rap Performance. That was for his Billboard Hot 100 chart-topping “Wait For U” single, featuring Drake and Tems.
Meanwhile, it appears that a new Future project could be coming soon. On Wednesday, the Atlanta rapper stated on Twitter, that he’s “locked in album mode.” Future also posted a similar tweet to this, earlier this spring.
One potential project that Future could be hinting at, is a joint album with Metro Boomin. The producer confirmed in April, that this is happening, as that came after the two performed at Coachella together. Over the past week, Future has also appeared on Lil Durk’s new “Almost Healed” album, as well as Moneybagg Yo’s “Hard To Love” mixtape, which is set to be released on June 2.
