Ella Mai’s ‘Boo’d Up’ Is Now 7x Multi-Platinum
Even in Ella Mai’s downtime, she’s received tremendous support for her valued catalog. For instance, in fact, the London native’s runaway hit “Boo’d Up” has become 7X multi-platinum.
Released in 2017, later breaking through the following year, the Larrance “Rance” Dopson and Mustard-produced track won Best R&B Song at the 61st Annual Grammy Awards in 2019.
“Trip,” which followed the success trail of “Boo’d Up,” is now certified 5X multi-platinum. It logged her second number-one single at Billboard Adult R&B in January 2019.
Also earning a platinum award is “10,000 Hours,” taken from her second extended play, Change, from November 2016.
In October 2021, Mai received notification of her self-titled debut album going double platinum.
A few months prior, her return single “Not Another Love Song,” expected to lead her second album era, went gold.
