Doja Cat’s “Kiss Me More” single with SZA sets new Spotify record

Doja Cat continues to be one of the biggest artists in the world, as the world also continues to wait for her third studio album. This year, she’s been teasing this project as a rap-only album, and no more pop records. However, it’s still unclear what the title of the album will be, as well as its official release date. This comes after Doja had to undergo tonsil surgery last spring, and had to cancel scheduled festival performances, as well as her performances on The Weeknd’s “After Hours Til Dawn” Tour.

Meanwhile, Doja’s previous hits continue to amass huge streams and set new records. According to Chart Data, her 2021 “Kiss Me More” single with SZA has now become the most streamed song by a female rapper in Spotify history.

Kiss Me More initially peaked at number three in the US, on the Billboard 200 chart. Furthermore, it also went on to go 5x platinum in the US. That same summer, Kiss Me More appeared on Doja’s sophomore album, “Planet Her.” That project saw a number two debut on the Billboard 200 chart, and spent three consecutive weeks at that spot.
