Chris Brown has gained a few new single sales awards from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).

“Loyal,” lifted from Brown’s sixth studio album X, is now 6x multi-platinum for selling more than six million equivalent units since releasing March 2014.

Lil Wayne and Tyga appear on the album version of “Loyal.” The catchy collaboration, produced by Nic Nac, samples “Money Ain’t A Thang” performed by Jermaine Dupri and JAY-Z.

In May 2014, “Loyal” topped Billboard’s Rhythmic Airplay chart, staying at No. 1 for two weeks. That same month, it scored Brown a top 10 single on the following Billboard charts: Hot R&B Songs (No. 4), Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs (No. 4) and Hot 100 (No. 9).

Lil Dicky’s “Freaky Friday,” on which Brown features, is now certified 5x multi-platinum. The song, co-produced by Benny Blanco, DJ Mustard and Twice As Nice, has been streamed over 616 million times on Spotify.

“Superhero (Heroes & Villains),” taken from Metro Boomin’s 2022 album Heroes & Villains, is now certified platinum. Brown appears on the popular song with rapper Future. It debuted at No. 8 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

At the time of publication, “Superhero (Heroes & Villains)” has amassed more than 175 million streams on Spotify since its release in December 2022.

Brown also gained an award for the ScHoolboy Q-featured “Bitches N Marijuana,” which appears on 2015’s Fan of A Fan: The Album released in collaboration with Tyga. The song, also produced by Nic Nac, is now certified gold.

Earlier this year, Brown earned his first certification of the Breezy era with “Call Me Every Day” featuring Wizkid. It’s now certified gold.

Brown is currently on a sold-out tour overseas supporting his tenth album Breezy. The Under the Influence Tour also puts attention behind his 2019 sleeper hit “Under the Influence,” which had a resurgence last year.

Due to demand, Brown added seven new dates to the tour. The 26-date trek will conclude on Mach 26 in Paris.

Before wrapping the tour, next Friday (Feb. 24), Brown joins Chlöe for her new song “How Does It Feel.” The Hitmaka-produced track will appear on her debut album, In Pieces, out March.

Brown could make an appearance at the 54th NAACP Image Awards. He landed four nominations, including Outstanding Album (Breezy) and Outstanding Male Artist.

The 54th NAACP Image Awards takes place Saturday, Feb. 25, at 8 p.m. ET on BET.
