Chlöe Bailey’s new single “How Does It Feel” with Chris Brown is a top 10 hit. The Hitmaka and Cardiak-produced track opens at No. 7 on Billboard’s R&B Digital Song Sales chart during the week of March 11.

According to Billboard, the chart tallies “the week’s most popular downloaded songs, ranked by sales data as compiled by Luminate.”

This isn’t Chlöe’s first time in top 10 on this chart. Her 2021 single “Have Mercy” and 2022’s “Treat Me” reached No. 1; her Latto-assisted single “For the Night” was close, peaking at No. 12.

She even scored success as part of the duo Chloe x Halle. Their 2020 gold-selling single “Do It” peaked at No. 4, while “Forgive Me” reached No. 7.

Circling back to “How Does It Feel,” it starts at No. 17 on the Hot R&B Songs chart and No. 20 on the R&B/Hip-Hop Digital Song Sales charts.

Although “How Does It Feel” missed the Hot 100 this week, there’s still room to move up, with it opening at No. 10 on the Bubbling Under Hot 100 chart. The song has yet to impact radio, which could also help boost its position on the charts.

On Spotify, “How Does It Feel” is trending No. 1 on Chlöe’s profile with over five million streams. The song has garnered more streams than its predecessor “Pray It Away” (four million), which dropped in January.

“How Does It Feel” and “Pray It Away” are lifted from Chlöe’s highly anticipated solo debut album, In Pieces, out March 31 on Parkwood Entertainment/Columbia Records.

Chlöe’s previously shared tracks “Have Mercy,” “Treat Me” and “For the Night” will not appear on the album.

Of the album, Chlöe said, “I have been the rawest, the most vulnerable, and the most open I have been in my entire life with this album. I used to believe the way I love so hard without question, was a curse. Only to find out, it’s been my greatest gift all along.”

Next month, Chlöe will embark on her headlining In Pieces Tour. It kicks off April 11 in Chicago, Illinois, at Riviera Theatre. From there, the platinum-selling singer and songwriter will perform in major cities such as Detroit, Boston, New York City, Atlanta and Los Angeles.

According to Chlöe, tickets are almost sold out.

Before Chlöe’s tour kicks off, her new movie Praise This will premiere April 7 on Peacock.

According to the logline, the Tina Gordon-directed film “follows aspiring musical superstar Sam (Five-time Grammy nominee Chloe Bailey; Grown-ish), a young woman driven, at almost any cost, to break into the music business.”
