Coi Leray’s “Players” single goes platinum
Coi Leray has been seeing a lot more success, over the past year. She released her debut studio album “Trendsetter” last spring, and also scored a massive hit in “Players,” later that fall. As a result, Players went on to receive various hit remixes, which included with DJ Saigee and Busta Rhymes, DJ Smallz, David Guetta, and more. Furthermore, Players reached a peak of number nine on the Billboard Hot 100 chart this past spring, and became Coi’s highest charting single to date.
Meanwhile, Coi’s Players single has achieved another major milestone. It has officially been certified platinum by the RIAA in the US, according to Chart Data. This comes after selling over 1 million units. Following this certification, Coi took to Twitter on Thursday, to say “Let me adddddd this to my collection I’m sooo gratefulll thank you everybody.”
Players will also go on to appear on Coi’s upcoming sophomore album, “COI.” This project was announced by her in May, and will be out on June 23. 16 songs will be available in total, including collaborations with David Guetta, Saucy Santana, the late James Brown, and much more. COI is also led by additional buzzing singles such as “My Body,” “Run It Up” and “Bops.”
