Kiana Ledé is celebrating platinum success this year.

The Recording Industry Association of America reports that Ledé’s fan-favorite song “Ex” has been certified platinum, with over one million equivalent units sold.

Appearing first on Selfless EP in 2018, and later on 2019’s Myself project, the Cameron Hale and Chelsea Lena-produced track was first certified gold last November.

The bittersweet love song has garnered over 81 million streams on Spotify, while its official video has racked over 40 million views on YouTube.

Back in June, Ledé released a moving rendition of P!nk’s “Dear Mr. President” in response to the recent deaths of George Floyd and Breonna Taylor. She also dropped three songs from her debut album KIKI in an acoustic style.

Speaking of her KIKI album, it was released in April. The LP includes guest appearances from Ari Lennox, Lucky Daye, 6LACK, Moneybagg Yo and Col3trane.Â
