Queen Naija Receives New Gold Certifications

Queen Naija adds three new gold plaques from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) to her ever-growing collection. 

The tracks “Butterflies Pt. 2” and “Lie to Me” featuring Lil Durk” are now certified gold. Both appear on her debut album, Missunderstood. They also follow her April honor for “Pack Lite.” 

She also earned a gold award for “Mama’s Hand,” taken from her self-titled 2018 EP. 

Naija will spend time on the road in October and November promoting her most recent album, which was repackaged as a deluxe this spring. Tink is joining her as a special guest on The Butterfly Tour. Tickets are available now. 

Earlier this month, Naija teamed up with Hitmaka for “Quickie” featuring Ty Dolla $ign. She collaborated with Jacquees on “Best Friend” in June.

Around the same time, she partnered with Amazon Music to record a new version of Drake’s “Marvin’s Room.”
