Nova Miller Is Seeing Double in ’70s-Inspired ‘Do It To Myself’ Exclusive

Rising pop star Nova Miller unveiled the '70s-inspired visual for her new single "Do It To Myself" on Tuesday (Jan. 14), exclusively  Streets Talkin.

In the delightfully retro clip directed by Chandler Lass, the singer-songwriter wanders through a vintage nightclub, bumping into a variety of romantic prospects before realizing the club's magnetic singer looks just like her. "When it comes to love, I overthink/ Everything too much, start sayin' things/ I don't even need/ So you don't need to drive me crazy/ I'll do that to myself," she croons over a sample of The Mamas and The Papas' classic 1965 hit "California Dreamin'" while wearing a feathery periwinkle number and strumming an electric guitar onstage.

"This video gave me space to have fun and showcase the different sides of myself," Miller tells Streets Talkin. "As people, we have layers and I got to give my layers characters. You won't see any emo Nova though, I'm all about keeping it positive."

The 18-year-old's latest single follows the release of her 2018 EP, Yellow, as well as one-off singles "Not My Number" and "TUTF."
