Metro Boomin has been on fire lately, as he produced the new “Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse” movie soundtrack. The soundtrack was released last week, as it contained 19 songs, including collaborations with Future, Nas, Coi Leray, Lil Wayne, Don Toliver, 2 Chainz, 21 Savage, and much more. Furthermore, Spider-Man also had a very successful opening weekend at the box office worldwide, as it accumulated $208.6 million. The animated film features Hailee Steinfield, Shameik Moore, Brian Tyree Henry, Issa Rae, Metro Boomin, and more.
In addition to the Spider-Man soundtrack, Metro also won big with his sophomore album, “Heroes & Villains,” last December. That debuted atop the Billboard 200 chart, and became his first number one solo album. 15 songs were released, including features with Future, 21 Savage, Young Thug, Travis Scott, Chris Brown, and others. “Superhero” featuring Future and Chris Brown has since been the biggest record from Heroes & Villains.
Meanwhile, Heroes & Villains has reached another major milestone. It has been certified platinum by the RIAA, in the US. This comes after selling over 1 million units.
Furthermore, Metro has even more highly anticipated projects on the way. This includes “Perfect Timing 2” with NAV, as well as a joint album with Future and JID.
