Harry Styles' Best Covers
OK, we’ve decided. Harry Styles can sing anything.
The crooner is no stranger to a good cover, and often nods other artists by delivering renditions of their songs.
In honor of Styles’ affinity for covers, we’ve compiled a list of our favorites. See them below.
“Juice” – Lizzo
Styles paid tribute to his new BFF Lizzo with a fun cover of her bouncy hit, “Juice.” During his funked up version on BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge, the singer swayed to the beat and smiled big at his belting of the sassy bridge (“Somebody come get your man/I think he got lost in my DMs”), which quickly went viral on Twitter.
“Wonderful Christmastime” – Paul McCartney
At BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge, Styles also got into the holiday spirit, covering the Beatle’s holiday classic “Wonderful Christmastime,” which got a fresh twist thanks to his guitarist’s solo.
“Big Yellow Taxi” – Joni Mitchell
Styles spread his characteristic message of love and kindness by covering the 1970 environmentally conscious classic. He put a sunny spin on the concerning topic, thanks to a shimmering acoustic guitar and a little giggle from the crooner at the end.
“The Chain” – Fleetwood Mac
Harry loves this song so much, he covered it quite a few times. The first was at BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge in 2017, following the release of his debut solo album. The cover displayed Styles’ transition from teen heartthrob to a modern rock n’ roll star. He went on to perform the tune on his first solo tour.
“Landslide” – Fleetwood Mac
On the release day of his sophomore album, Fine Line, Styles took the stage at the Forum in Los Angeles to celebrate the record by performing it in full. He surprised the crowd by bringing out Stevie Nicks, and the duo performed “Landslide” together.
“I know, cool isn’t it?” Styles told the screaming crowd as the legend walked out on stage.
“Girl Crush” – Little Big Town
For his 2017 Spotify Singles, Styles opted to cover Little Big Town‘s “Girl Crush.” Two days before the release, he performed the song at the Ryman in Nashville, where he referred to “Girl Crush” as “one of my favorite songs recently that’s come out of this place.”
“Ultralight Beam” – Kanye West
In 2017, at a secret concert in London to promote his self-titled album, the singer delivered a version of Kanye West’s “Ultralight Beam,” off The Life of Pablo. Styles put his folk spin on the tune, adding a slew of guitars to the instrumentals.

“You’re Still the One” – Shania Twain
The king and queen of good vibes and colorful clothes joined forces in 2018 at Styles’ Madison Square Garden tour stop. Kacey Musgraves joined the singer to deliver a shimmering rendition of Twain’s 1998 hit, “You’re Still the One.”
“Sledgehammer” – Peter Gabriel
In March 2020, Styles stopped by The Howard Stern Show, where he performed a cover of Gabriel’s the 1986 anthem. He also revealed that he recorded much of his Fine Line album at the rocker’s Bath, England-based studio. Upon hearing the cover, Gabriel retweeted the clip with a pair of clapping emojis.
