Hailee Steinfeld reflects how her relationship went in the "Wrong Direction" in a bare-all music video released Wednesday (Jan. 8).
The electronically tinged emotive ballad shows Steinfeld getting soaked in the rain before she lies in a tub and meditates on her tumultuous past relationship, her damp hair dangling over her teary eyes.
"Every time you burned me down/ Don't know how; for a moment it felt like heaven/ Loved me with your worst intentions/ Painted us a happy ending," she sings in the chorus.
Alexandre Moore directed the music video, who has previously helmed visuals for Miley Cyrus and Kendrick Lamar.
