After that, she began starring in makeup commercials. To hear Eva tell it, though, she came a long way. During a recent interview, Eva said she was the ugly ducking in her family. Even worse, she was called the “ugly, Black, one.”

Eva Longoria rose to fame via “Desperate Housewives,” nearly twenty years ago. In the eight years of the show, Eva became a household name. Outside of the show, Eva Longoria landed endorsement deals with many cosmetics companies. All of this was due to her natural good looks. However, Longoria is saying she had to grow into this look. Now that she has grown into it, Eva Longoria is considered one of the most beautiful women in entertainment.

Eva Longoria did an interview with uInterviews, a little over a month ago. In the middle of their conversation, Eva discussed what life was like growing up. This was when she said that she was considered an ugly duckling growing up. As a result, Eva Longoria said her family called her mean names. She said a phrase in Spanish that translates into “ugly, Black, one.” While he laughed about it, she said her own mother is the one who called her this.
