John Legend Premieres ‘Bodies On The Floor’ Featuring Clipse

There has been a significant amount of anticipation surrounding the legendary rap duo Clipse, with fans eagerly awaiting new material from both Pusha T and Malice. The hip-hop community has been clamoring for fresh verses from the brothers, and that wait has finally ended with a powerful new collaboration featuring John Legend.

The acclaimed singer-songwriter recently premiered his latest song, “Bodies On The Floor,” during an appearance on the Joe & Jada podcast. The debut provided an intimate look at the track, capturing genuine, excited reactions from both Jadakiss and Fat Joe. The song serves as an intriguing confluence of genres, balancing the emotional weight of a ballad with the grit of classic hip-hop.

Pusha T delivers a verse that highlights his signature “heartbreak zone” style. Through vivid imagery—ranging from comparisons of chasing rainbows to Skittles, to metaphors about splitting a house down the middle—he reinforces his reputation as a clinical, masterful lyricist. Complementing this, John Legend provides a heart-wrenching bridge and chorus, lamenting the exhaustion of conflict with raw, soulful intensity.
