50 Cent Responds to Diddy and Daphne Joy Sextape Allegations

50 Cent is not holding back when it comes to the latest controversy surrounding Sean “Diddy” Combs and his former partner, Daphne Joy. The hip-hop mogul addressed the viral allegations during an appearance at the premiere of the final season of Starz’s Power: Raising Kanan, where he was asked about reports of an alleged leaked video involving Combs and Joy, the mother of his son.

Rather than avoid the topic, 50 Cent used the moment to further distance himself from Joy while continuing his public criticism of his longtime rival.

“You seen the first tape, man, there’s a lot of tapes out there,” he said, suggesting the alleged video was only one piece of a larger controversy surrounding Combs.

The rapper and television producer acknowledged that public interest in the story has intensified because of his connection to Joy. “It feels like it special because it’s my son’s mom in the actual tape,” 50 said. Despite that connection, he made it clear that he does not view himself as personally invested in her private life. “But, we haven’t had any intimacy for 12 years,” he added.

The Queens native then delivered his most controversial statement of the night: “She could be out back with a dog for all I care, to be honest with you.”

50 Cent also referenced Sean Combs: The Reckoning, the documentary examining allegations and controversies surrounding Combs that he executive produced. While discussing the project, he suggested that Joy stood apart from many of the women whose experiences have been publicly discussed. “She’s the only person that we didn’t get into the documentary that I wish we did because she would be the only person there that wasn’t a victim,” he said.

50’s remark paints Joy as complicit in the viral actions. He concluded by offering a broader and equally provocative opinion: “When you think of women, we go women empowerment for women, but let’s not forget that there is some hoes.” The comments mark the latest chapter in 50 Cent’s long-running feud with Combs.
