
Tyler, The Creator Set To Release New Album ‘Don’t Tap The Glass’
Tyler, the Creator has announced that his new album Don’t Tap the Glass will be released on Monday, July 21.
On social media, Tyler had been dropping clues this past week about a forthcoming project. Taking to his Golf Wang site, Tyler with merch to promote the new album, “that featured vinyl, t-shirts and hats advertising the new record and confirming its imminent release.”
At his show tonight in Brooklyn, Tyler revealed his album title during his live performance on stage. Confirming the installation at his show, he recreated the new album cover with the title on the front.
Tyler’s last album, Chromakopia, featured guest appearances from Doechii, Childish Gambino, GloRilla, and Lil Wayne. He also launched his“Chromakopia” world tour with Lil Yachty and Paris Texas as supporting acts.
Currently, Tyler is still performing the “Chromakopia” tour, finishing out a four-night run at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center in New York City on Friday. After some upcoming dates in North America, before he heads overseas to Australia, Japan, South Korea, and Thailand. Then, he’s off to the Philippines for two final dates at Araneta Coliseum on September 20-21.
Always staying busy, Tyler recently made a guest appearance on Clipse’s new album “Let God Sort Em Out” with the song “P.O.V.”
