Lil Baby Dismisses ‘Fake News’ Linking Teen Deaths to His Music Video Shoot

After two 13-year-olds were found dead following a Lil Baby video shoot last year, the rapper and his lawyers denied any connection. The boys were killed at a July 2024 birthday party, with authorities linking the violence to a dispute at Baby’s music video shoot two months prior. The rapper’s attorneys dismissed the allegations as “complete and total nonsense.”

Baby’s lawyers, Drew Findling and Marissa Goldberg, said, “To say that he couldn’t shoot a music video in his hometown, a place that he loves and has continued to uplift, is disgraceful.” “Even more, the location for a major music video shoot is a decision made by a professional team and is not a decision made by any individual.” They asserted he played “no involvement” in the shooting, condemning the police department’s conduct as “unprofessional, unethical, and shameful.”

While Lil Baby’s name was absent from the press conference, arrest warrants for seven suspects cited his May 2024 music video filmed in northwest Atlanta.
