Joy Taylor “Sidelined” By Fox Sports
Popular FS1 sports broadcaster Joy Taylor has been “sidelined” from this week’s Speak!, Front Office Sports reports. Questions about her presence arose following the personality missing three consecutive days on the show. Sources told Front Office Sports that Taylor was “sidelined” by the network, though the exact reason remains unclear.
Taylor, former FS1 host Skip Bayless, and FS1 executive Charlie Dixon were named in a 42-page lawsuit filed in January by ex-Fox hairstylist Noushin Faraji. Dixon, accused of sexual misconduct in two lawsuits, was placed on leave before Fox’s Super Bowl LIX broadcast, according to The Athletic.
Joy Taylor, however, continued hosting Speak alongside Keyshawn Johnson and Paul Pierce, even taking the show to New Orleans for Super Bowl week. Despite this, she has been absent from Speak since Monday, with little explanation beyond Johnson briefly noting her absence.
Taylor remains in Los Angeles, where Speak is filmed, and recently attended a Lakers-Mavericks game with former FS1 host Alex Curry.
Faraji accused Taylor of harassment based on ethnicity, claims both Taylor and Bayless have vehemently denied. Fox’s legal team has moved to dismiss the case entirely. In her official response, Taylor rejected “each and every allegation.”
A spokeswoman told The Athletic that Faraji included Taylor in the lawsuit to generate media attention rather than pursue justice.
Joy Taylor has been a key figure at FS1 since 2016. She previously moderated Undisputed and co-hosted The Herd before transitioning to Speak.
