Tracy Morgan may be a comedy legend but he’s not known for having the gift of song.

At the SNL50: The Homecoming Concert that aired on Peacock on Friday (Feb.14), Morgan jokingly called out Lorne Michaels,  the creator and executive producer of the legendary sketch comedy show, for not allowing him to sing.

“Is everyone having a good time?” “Well, I’m not,” Morgan said to the crowd at Radio City Music Hall.

“I’ve been disrespected!” he continued. “Lorne Michaels, you have disrespected me b*tch!”

The camera shot to Michaels who was laughing at Morgan’s joke.

“It’s a night of great music, and nobody asked me to sing — nobody!” Morgan joked. “Dis-res-pect!”

Morgan then took advantage of this time at the mic and blessed the audience with his vocals.

“I don’t care what Lorne Michaels thinks,” a defiant Morgan said, adding, “He’s going to be dead in a week.”

“It’s true! I went to the Hamptons a while back, and Lorne said, ‘I’m only going to stay alive until the 50th [season], and then I’m going to kick the bucket.’”

When he asked Michaels to sing at the 50th anniversary Michaels said, “I don’t even know you” and then asked him to “go park Tina [Fey]’s car.”

“That’s disrespect! He thought I was Tina’s driver, which is ridiculous because everyone knows Tina likes her drivers young and Dominican,” Morgan added.

Celebrating the 50-year celebration, on Sunday, February 16, with SNL50: The Anniversary Special at 8 p.m. ET and 5 p.m. PT on NBC and streaming on Peacock.
