Rihanna Fires Back After Voice Used In AI Enhanced Video

On Wednesday (Feb.5) Rihanna responded to an Instagram account using artificial intelligence to alter her voice in one of their posts. The post contains a video of Rihanna speaking about her most expensive purchases. However, according to the Fenty founder, that was not her speaking. “Who tf is this talking??!” she wrote in the comment section.

The singer’s fans also questioned the validity of the video clip. “This is AI lol Rihanna would never speak like this even if every purchase was true,” one person commented. “Rih would never boast like this,” another fan wrote.
“Real fans know wassup. AI..”

“I don’t believe this…have never seen stars brag like this about what the have…AI makes me sick,” someone else said.

Rihanna Joins “The Smurfs Movie” With New Music

In other news, Rihanna is bringing her voice to the big screen as Smurfette in The Smurfs Movie. A few days back, a new trailer dropped, featuring some exciting new music from the superstar. In the teaser, Rihanna introduces herself and her role, saying, “I can’t wait for you to see the movie this summer.”

The trailer offers a unique twist by blending the classic Smurfs theme song with Rihanna’s 2007 hit Don’t Stop the Music before transitioning into her cover of Heaven Is a Place on Earth, originally by Belinda Carlisle. DJ Khaled makes an appearance on the track as well.

Rihanna’s voiceover adds, “In Smurf Village, every day is a party. Every Smurf has a job—like Grouchy, Influencer, and me, the coolest Smurf in the whole village.” The plot follows the Smurfs as they embark on a journey across different dimensions to find the missing Papa Smurf, voiced by John Goodman. Other actors lending their voices include Nick Offerman, Natasha Lyonne, Nick Kroll, James Corden, and Amy Sedaris.

The Smurfs Movie, produced by Jay Brown, Ty Ty Smith, Robyn Rihanna Fenty, and Ryan Harris, is set to hit theaters on July 18, 2025.
