Lil Durk cancels tour dates after recent hospitalization

Last week, it was revealed that Lil Durk was hospitalized on July 6. This was as a result of the Chicago rapper experiencing dehydration and exhaustion. At the time, Durk was in Ohio.

“My fans mean everything to me, you’re the reason why I do this,” said Durk in his initial statement to TMZ. “I was looking forward to touching all of my European fans, performing this week(end), attending the ESPYs and more but after performing and traveling daily I’ve become severely dehydrated and advised by my doctors not to travel due to exhaustion. Once I get my full energy back, it’s back to business which I’m looking forward to. #StillHealing.”

As a result, Durk wasn’t cleared by doctors to resume performing. This all comes as his “Sorry For The Drought” Tour is supposed to kick off on July 28, in Tampa. However, many dates are already being canceled, due to Durk’s recent hospitalization. Some of the confirmed cancelations include initial stops in Atlanta, Charlotte, Virginia Beach, Camden, NJ, Baltimore, Brooklyn, Mansfield, MA, and Newark, NJ.

However, the canceled dates for the tour stop on August 11, as Durk is scheduled to perform in his hometown of Chicago. Special guests on this tour include GloRilla, Kodak Black, and DD Osama. The tour was announced prior to dropping his new Almost Healed” album, in late May.
