Episode 7 of the “Seasons” docuseries premiered Monday for YouTube Premium subscribers.

Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin legally tied the knot in a New York courthouse in September 2018, followed by an official wedding ceremony in Bluffton, South Carolina, almost exactly one year later in September 2019. Now, they're letting fans know the reason that ceremony took a full year.

Mr. and Mrs. Bieber detail their wedding planning in the latest episode of Seasons, which premiered for YouTube Premium members on Monday (Feb. 10). Hailey first explains that while she and Justin both agreed they were in no rush to plan their wedding, they also agreed that being married was important before taking the next step.

"We wanted to move in together, and we didn't believe in doing that until we were married, so we got legally married," Hailey says. (The pair got engaged in July 2018.) "Moving in together and living together, and getting to share space with each other and just keep learning more about each other, just took away all the pressure of the scary part of getting married."

Hailey goes on to admit that being a bride and having her dad walk her down the aisle was something she always wanted — similar to what Justin also admits in an earlier episode of Seasons — which is partly why they still had a formal wedding. But Hailey also says they wanted to keep it small (initial reports said there were 154 guests) and limited to people "who had been very super involved in the journey" and "are still part of our day-to-day lives right now."

While Justin wasn't a huge part of the planning — "I just basically showed up," he says — Allison Kaye from his management team reveals that the Biebs had said he wanted to get married in Bluffton upon visiting years ago and remembered the location upon searching for venues with Hailey. There was one thing Justin was sure about, though: Wedding tables don't need big flower arrangements. "I was like, 'How are we supposed to eat with these flowers in my damn face?'" Justin quips.

The episode also features Justin talking about his favorite hobbies and how his Drew House clothing line came to be. Watch the latest installment of Seasons below.
