Will Ferrell Performs “Not Like Us” At SNL 50
Will Ferrell and Ana Gasteyer brought back their beloved “SNL” characters, Marty and Bobbi Mohan-Culp, for a show-stopping performance at Friday night’s SNL50: The Homecoming Concert. The duo covered Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us.”

The quirky music teachers, known for their hilariously out-of-touch pop covers, delivered a mashup of today’s biggest hits, including Kendrick Lamar’s Grammy-winning Not Like Us.
Will Ferrell, fully in character, playfully addressed the ongoing Lamar-Drake feud. “Are Kenny Lamar and Drake Graham in the house?” he quipped. “Maybe you two can hug it out tonight in the name of love and fellowship. No? Not in hell. Message received.”
The duo then leaned into Lamar’s clever wordplay, delivering a theatrical twist that had the audience—including Amy Schumer and Mark Ronson—laughing in disbelief.
The Culps were a staple of SNL in the late ’90s, their buttoned-up personas clashing perfectly with their bizarrely earnest takes on contemporary hits. Their latest medley kept that tradition alive, weaving in Charli XCX’s Brat, Britney Spears’ Work Bitch, Doechii’s Denial Is a River, Chappell Roan’s Good Luck, Babe!, Sam Smith and Kim Petras’ Unholy, and Megan Thee Stallion’s Body.
The SNL50 concert, held at Radio City Music Hall, set the stage for the official SNL50: The Anniversary Special, a three-hour live event airing February 16 at 8 p.m. ET.
This milestone celebration has drawn an all-star lineup, featuring performances from Cher, Dave Grohl, Snoop Dogg, St. Vincent, Wyclef Jean, Bad Bunny, Miley Cyrus, Lady Gaga, and more.
