Sexyy Red Was Once Offered A WWE Contract

Sexyy Red was almost a wrestling superstar.

During an interview with Dazed, Sexyy shared that the WWE offered her a permanent position.

Although she didn’t have enough time to get into WWE shape, she appeared with wrestling legend Shawn Michaels and they sang “Sexy Boy.”

According to  Sexyy Red, rapping and wrestling are very similar.

“Rapping and wrestling are pretty much the same,” she said. “It’s not quite acting, but it’s kind of acting too, right? Because when we go home and take off all our jewels and gold and remove the costumes we wear, we then have to go right back to reality with our families.”

In May, the Sexyy Red made her debut at WWE NXT Debut.

Taking the event by storm, the “U My Everything” rapper unveiled the brand new NXT North American Women’s Championship belt, She also accompanied NXT champion Trick Williams and Je’Von Evans for their match. In the ring, she twerked and drove the crowd wild.

Elsewhere in the interview, Sexyy Red spoke about the downside to her growing fame.

“I feel like with me, the more famous I get, the more people will see me as a threat,” she explained. “As I get bigger and more viral, there’s going to be more and more people who want to harm me, 100 percent.”

Sexyy Red also made it clear that she will not stand for anyone trying to bring her down after her meteoric rise to success in the rap game.

“I like making people mad! When they are talking crazy in the comments about my appearance, people ask: ‘Are you sad?’ I swear to God, this shit doesn’t affect me one bit. It’s more like: isn’t it crazy that someone thinks about me so much that they want to post something?” Sexyy Red said. “My job is to shit on these bitches and make them mad, and I am very good at it.”
