Rolling Loud India Reveals Lineup Ft. Central Cee, Wiz Khalifa, Don Toliver, Karan Aujla & More
Rolling Loud is an exciting all hip-hop festival (globally the biggest!) and is coming to India for the first time ever. For the opening edition, the organisers have decided to enlist the likes of Central Cee, Wiz Khalifa, Don Toliver & Karan Aujla as headlining acts across the two day fest.
The festival also promises a special performance by Divine, who is Indian Hip Hop’s first breakout act to be signed by Nas and Mass Appeal. Homegrown legends aside, one can also expect to catch names like Denzel Curry, Hanumankind, Sheck Wes, Ski Mask The Slump God, Dababy, Westside Gunn and more! Check out the official line up reveal below.
The fest kicks off this November 22 and 23rd, and is nothing short of a historical moment in the country’s entertainment landscape. For India, this is a big deal. With Indian rappers slowly and steadily penetrating into the global mainstream, the arrival of Rolling Loud signals a sort of acknowledgement that isn’t taken lightly by artists in the country.
It’s a reaffirmation of the hard work that has gone into shaping a scene and culture still new and foreign to the subcontinent, all while standing its ground as a movement with potential and unrelenting talent.
Speaking on homegrown talent at the helm of this star studded line up, Matt Zingler & Tariq Cherif, Co-Founders/Co-CEOs remarked, “…to have Karan Aujla headline this debut is historic – the first time an artist from the host country will lead the bill at an international Rolling Loud.
Alongside new headlining turns from Central Cee and Don Toliver, this lineup reflects both the worldwide power of hip-hop and the rising strength of India’s own scene. We’re proud to celebrate this milestone at Loud Park and deliver an unforgettable experience for fans.” What are your thoughts? Get your tickets here, courtesy of District by Zomato.
