Normani’s ‘Wild Side’ Is Now Certified Gold

Normani’s latest single “Wild Side” featuring Cardi B has been certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), with more than 500,000 equivalent units sold. The news arrives just a week after the track reached the top 10 on urban radio. 

This is Normani’s first RIAA award of 2021. Last year, her 2018 duet with Khalid, â€œLove Lies,” was certified 5x multi-platinum. Meanwhile, her 2019 solo debut single “Motivation” also went platinum. 

“Wild Side” is the lead single from Normani’s highly anticipated debut album, which will release on Keep Cool/RCA Records. While there aren’t many details available about the album, she has been in the studio with The-Dream and sister duo Fallon King and Felisha King-Harvey.
