New 50 Cent Documentary Finalised By Hulu After $75 Million Bid
We all know that 50 Cent has been mad active lately making documentaries like the one for Diddy on Netflix. But what of 50’s own life and times?
Well, the mogul will finally get a full fledged documentary directed by none other than Mandon Lovett, who also worked on Rap Caviar, The French Montana Story and Origins Of HipHop.
Currently untitled, the documentary will chronicle the rise of Curtis Jackson from starting out in Queens and eventually building the empire he currently boasts.
Unsurprisingly, there was a competitive bid to get the ball rolling on this front. Netflix, Starz, Apple and Hulu were engaged in a bidding war, which finally came to an end upon Hulu’s 75 Million dollar offer to secure the rights.
At first, people on the Internet thought it to be a joke — after all, 50 did share the news on X on April Fools’ Day. However, 50 doesn’t seem to fool around when it comes to money. Stay tuned for more updates!
