Ne-Yo’s ‘U 2 Luv’ Reaches No. 1 on Billboard Adult R&B Songs Chart
Ne-Yo hits his second hold in one on the Billboard Adult R&B Songs chart, as “U 2 Luv†featuring Jeremih advances to the number one spot in its 16th week. It is also singing the same praises on the urban adult contemporary (urban AC) radio format this week.
The multi-awarded singer/songwriter previously topped the Adult R&B Songs chart in 2018 when he reigned king of the hill for “Good Man†from his album of the same title. The LP was featured on Rated R&B’s year-end best R&B albums list that year.
Ahead of celebrating his second Adult R&B chart leader, Ne-Yo released a new remix to the Retro Future-produced track. It features Queen Naija and Lil Durk. Stream it below.
“U 2 Luv†is the second single from Ne-Yo’s forthcoming album that will arrive on his Compound Entertainment imprint in partnership with Motown Records. In February, he shared the hard-hitting track “Pinky Ring†featuring O.T. Genasis as the lead single.
In other news, Ne-Yo recently teamed up with Jermaine Dupri, Johntá Austin and Bryan-Michael Cox for a new socially-charged anthem titled “Change.” It features a host of artists, from Boyz II Men to Gary Clark, Jr. to PJ Morton to Anthony Hamilton to Rick Ross to Smokie Norful and many more.
