Nas Wanted to Change the Vocabulary of Hip-Hop

In the latest animated short from Foot Locker and Timberland for the footwear company’s Legend’s Club series, Nas explains how in an effort to raise the lyrical bar the raps he was writing at the time, he would read the dictionary front to back and absorb new words to weave into his verses. This clip is in support the latest Legend’s Club release: the Vol. VIII Black Strap Boot, which has been available since last month.
