Metro Boomin Court Trial Over Sexual Assault To Begin September After Failed Settlement Attempts
An alleged 2016 incident continues to haunt producer Metro Boomin many years since. According to the lawsuit filed by Vanessa LeMaistre in 2024, she blacked out after having taken Xanax and alcohol, only to wake up and find Metro Boomin r*ping her. “We look forward to holding Mr. Wayne accountable in front of a jury of his peers,” a legal representative from Vanessa’s team commented in their conversation with Rolling Stone.
The incident allegedly resulted in Vanessa having to undergo through impregnation and abortion in addition to emotional turmoil, especially considering that she met Metro after having lost a 9-month old son. Metro’s team, however, strongly denies any wrongdoing, claims shakedown, and will fight the case in court. It is important to mention here that previously ongoing talks of settlement in supervision of a retired judge have turned out to be unsuccessful, so there really is no avoiding the trial for Metro Boomin. According to his team, he refused to pay Vanessa in the past, and he still refuses to settle.
Interestingly, Vanessa’s claims also refer to Metro Boomin’s “Rap Saved Me” with Offset, 21 Savage, and Quavo, where apparently the incident was elusively discussed. The bars in question are:
“She took a Xanny, then she fainted / I’m from the gutter, ain’t co hanging / From the gutter, rap saved me / She drive me crazy, have my baby.”
Now, nobody knows what the truth is, but the trial begins September 23, 2025, so stay tuned for more updates on this case.
