Lil Tay Crashes NYFW Runway, Prompting Security Intervention

Lil Tay turned an unscheduled appearance into one of New York Fashion Week’s most talked-about moments. The recording artist and content creator unexpectedly stepped onto the runway during Creators Inc.’s presentation. According to a video obtained by TMZ, Tay joined the scheduled models during the show.

She walked the catwalk as guests watched from the audience. Tay remained on the runway for several moments before security approached her. Security eventually escorted Tay away, allowing the planned presentation to continue.

Creators Inc. CEO Andy Bachman acknowledged the disruption while admitting Tay commanded attention. “I don’t condone spoiling months of preparation,” Bachman told TMZ. “But I’ll admit that girl mogged the entire room.” Bachman also suggested Tay could have a future in fashion modeling, though he made clear that her next runway appearance should follow industry protocol. “She should consider a catwalk,” Bachman said, “preferably with a booking next time.”

Tay’s surprise runway walk added another viral moment to her growing public profile. The content creator has built an audience through social media and attention-grabbing appearances. Her NYFW appearance, however, arrived without the traditional structure of a fashion booking. She was not presented as one of the show’s scheduled models.
