Kendrick Lamar Becomes The First Musical Artist To Do A Gatorade Commercial With ‘peekaboo’: Watch

As fans wait and theorize about Kendrick’s next moves and a possible extension to the GNX album, the man himself has gone ahead to create history with a sports drink advertisement.

With a voiceover, appearance and music featured in the latest advertisement for Gatorade, Kendrick Lamar has officially become the first artist to do so.

The advertisement is about winning, and it in turn also solidifies Kendrick’s victory in the beef with Drake. You might remember that he name-dropped Gatorade in ‘Not Like Us‘. To be more specific though, the commercial is actually about sweating, and the fact that whoever is willing to sweat more and can sweat more, eventually wins.

With Kendrick’s hunger to cement his name in the culture and to take Hip-Hop to new heights, it fits in perfectly well with global image. What do you think?
