Kanye West Banned From Entering The UK Over Antisemitic Comments

After major sponsorship pull back from the Wireless Festival that Kanye was to headline in the UK, the rapper has faced yet another blow. Yes, Ye (formerly known as Kanye West) has been banned from entering the UK.

According to analysts, the move was made in light of the pressure on the Home Office to prevent something that would not be conducive to public good. The rapper had attempted to speak to Jewish community in the UK, but many organisations and community heads/ public figures turned him down.

Campaign Against Antisemitism (CAA) in particular was ready to protest at the event itself if it were to take place as planned. Only Phil Rosenberg has agreed to meet with the rapper, on the condition that he pulls out of Wireless Festival himself. Previously, Kanye has publicly apologised to the Jewish community via a newspaper advertisement, where he claimed to have been going through a mental breakdown due to bipolar.
