DJ Hed and Gina Views Bring ‘Effective Immediately’ to Revolt

Popular Los Angeles DJ and correspondent Aaron “DJ Hed” Drake Jr. and radio host Gina Views are set to bring their Effective Immediately radio show to Revolt this month. According to a recent press release, the buzzing West Coast broadcast will secure an evening programming slot on the network. Since its launch in 2024, the show has garnered significant attention for its viral interviews with prominent West Coast hip-hop figures, including Blueface, Ice Cube, and LaRussell.

“The West Coast has something to say,” Revolt shared in an official Instagram post announcing the show’s arrival on the network.

For Gina Views, this partnership represents a pivotal opportunity to elevate the West Coast’s cultural narrative. “Everything I’ve built has been about elevating West Coast voices and telling our stories authentically,” she stated. “Partnering with REVOLT lets us bring our voice to a bigger audience without losing what made it real in the first place.”

Expanding the Reach of West Coast Hip-Hop

Over the course of 100 episodes, Effective Immediately has cultivated a distinct identity defined by its unfiltered perspective and authentic regional energy. The magnetic chemistry between DJ Hed and Gina Views has successfully attracted a growing global audience, setting the stage for their transition to television.

For DJ Hed, the move is a culmination of two decades of dedication to the culture. “Effective Immediately is a product of 20 years of me trying to provide an authentic voice in our culture,” he noted. “It’s the platform that I have always strived to create.”

The show’s jump to television is part of the broader Offscript Worldwide initiative, for which Revolt serves as the flagship brand.
