Coldplay unveiled the cinematic video for their Everyday Life track “Trouble in Town” on Thursday (March 12).

Inspired by George Orwell’s Animal Farm, the visual gives the famed 1945 novella a 21st century update complete with political pigs brawling on a debate stage, a streetwise fox on the run from a corrupt snow leopard cop and a homeless deer reading a copy of the allegory on the street.

“Trouble in town, because they hung my brother brown/ Because the system just keep it down/ This trouble, this trouble in town,” frontman Chris Martin croons as the dystopian fantasy plays out on screen.

“Trouble in Town” follows recent singles “Cry Cry Cry,” “Champion of the World” and “Daddy” off the band’s eighth studio album, which was preceded by dual singles “Orphans” and “Arabesque.” Proceeds from the latest track will be split between two nonprofits: the Innocence Project and the African Children’s Feeding Scheme.
