Weeks after a premature report surfaced that Brandy’s record of the year “Borderline” entered the top 10 on the urban adult contemporary radio, the Camper-produced track finally has this week. It possesses almost four million listener impressions, and totals over 1,035 in radio spins.

That is now the third single — besides the Chance the Rapper-assisted jam “Baby Mama” and the Grammy-nominated duet “Love Again” featuring Daniel Caesar — from the vocalist’s critically-acclaimed b7 album to break into the top-10 region. The breathtaking tune led the urban AC format at number one in November 2019, making it her first chart topper here, respectively.

“Borderline” is the second most-streamed song from b7, followed by “Again.” It surpasses more than five million streams on Spotify, while the Derek Blanks-directed video has been over four-million times on YouTube.

Brandy, who broke Verzuz viewership records with Monica in August, recently dropped a part two of her song “No Tomorrow” featuring Ty Dolla $ign. She also joined forces with her newfound collaborator and super producer Camper for his unrestful new single “Sleep.”Â
