Ari Lennox just got broke off by The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) with another gold certification. “BMO,” the top 20 urban radio single from her Shea Butter Baby debut album, has reached gold status, with more than 500,000 equivalent copies sold.

This makes the Dreamville frontwoman’s second song from Rated R&B’s best R&B album of 2019 to secure a gold grade. It also is her first solo track to achieve this RIAA accolade. A year ago, the LP’s title track, which features J Cole, earned this shining title.

Lennox, who recently dropped the delectable new single “Chocolate Pomegranate,” is working on her much anticipated follow up album. She was spotted in the studio with Akil C. “Fresh” King, Blush, and J. White Did It.

This year has been all collaborations for Lennox. The gold-selling artist joined forces with some of the best in R&B and hip-hop’s new school, including Kiana Ledé, Anthony Ramos, Nasty C, and Skip Marley.

Back in March, Lennox released a three-track EP of some fan-favorites from her debut album.  Â
