Ari Lennox Signs Publishing Deal With Warner Chappell Music
Ari Lennox is setting up all the right moves for her official return. The platinum-selling artist just signed a global publishing administration agreement with Warner Chappell Music.
Under the pact, Warner Chappell will cover existing and future work like her hotly anticipated sophomore album, which is expected to feature contributions from Missy Elliott, Bryan-Michael Cox, Jermaine Dupri, and Johntá Austin.
“There’s so much to be said about Ari and her music, but her artistic drive is what truly sets her apart,†said Warner Chappell Music’s President of A&R Ryan Press. “She’s spent the last seven years working towards this moment, and I’m looking forward to the many successes I know we’ll share with her and the Dreamville team.â€

Lennox echoed both Press and Joseph’s sentiments, stating in a press release, “The Warner Chappell team has always supported me. I’ve known Wallace and Ryan Press for some time now and I am so thrilled to be a part of the family.â€
To date, Lennox has received two plaques from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), including a platinum award for the title track of her Shea Butter Baby debut and a gold certification for “BMO.â€
Her debut album received tons of accolades and praise, with much from Rated R&B. The LP was named the Best R&B Album of 2019 by our publication.
In addition to working on new material of her own, Lennox has appeared on multiple projects with other artists this year. She joined Queen Naija’s missunderstood…still (“Set Him Upâ€) and Jazmine Sullivan’s Heaux Tales (“On It.â€)
