While many people continue to not give Wale his flowers, the artist has managed to go on release after release setting a higher standard for good music and premium lyricism. His 2025 album Everything Is A Lot was a proof of his range, with immaculate songs like ‘Belly‘ & ‘Watching Us’ (where Leon Thomas particularly shines) — now, the latter has a music video.

Playing with warm tones, posh interiors and luxurious landscapes, the video perfectly compliments the blend of R&B, rap and afrobeats. The film meanders between cinematic stills and motion, creating an ebb and flow that matches the flow of the track.
