Anticipation is building for A$AP Rocky’s forthcoming studio album is Don’t Be Dumb, though the rapper has remained tight-lipped about its official release date. In a recent Vanity Fair feature with actors Callum Turner, LaKeith Stanfield, Glen Powell, and Jeremy Allen White, Rocky shared insights into the album’s progress, teasing collaborations without revealing a timetable.
He noted, “Danny Elfman has collaborated with me on this project, scoring several tracks for my new album. We have something special in the works that I expect to share with fans before the year’s end.” The comments suggest a distinctive musical direction while avoiding concrete release details.
Rocky has repeatedly sidestepped questions about timing. After postponing the album in 2024, he hinted at a potential surprise drop in an October interview with Numéro Magazine. “To be honest, I don’t want to discuss release dates any longer,” he said. “I believe it’s best to let the music resonate naturally. One day, you’ll simply wake up to exciting news. I regretted giving dates last time, and I want to ensure you enjoy the album when it finally arrives.”
