Megan Thee Stallion Reveals ‘Act 3’ Is On The Way
During a recent TikTok live, Megan Thee Stallion revealed that the third installment of her MEGAN series is on the way. The Houston native noted that she’s not only making this project for the Hotties, but for her haters as well. “I’m bout to give the hotties what they’re asking for. I’m bout to give the notties what they’re looking for.” The comment section was immediately sent into a frenzy.
That said, the rapper has not yet revealed an official release date. The “Whenever” rapper did note, however, that there could be a tour in the works for 2026. Megan’s last project, Act 2, worked as a deluxe version of her MEGAN album, which was released in June 2024. Guest appearances on the project included Flo Milli, Twice, Spiritbox, and RM of BTS. Upon its release, it debuted at number three on the US Billboard 200, selling nearly 64,000 units. To promote the project the rapper embarked on her first headlining concert, The Hot Girl Summer Tour.

In other news, Megan Thee Stallion recently dropped off her latest track, “Lover Girl.” Despite being highly anticipated by fans, after weeks of teasers from the rapper, it left critics and fans divided. Nevertheless, the track, which samples Total’s 1996 hit “Kissing You,” debuted at No.1 on the iTunes chart. The song appears to be inspired by Megan’s new beau, NBA star Klay Thompson.
Many fans praised “Lover Girl” for its production and appreciated Megan’s ability to show a softer, more romantic side. “Megan Thee Stallion went from: “Handle me, who gon handle me?” To: “I had to lock in when I found out he can handle me.”EXACTLYYYYYYYYYYYYY this!! @theestallion #lovergirl,” one X (formerly Twitter user wrote. On the other hand, some fans found the song’s lyrics repetitive and uninspired. “I was reallllllllly hoping #LoverGirl wouldn’t do what I THOUGHT it would, which is not take off. It’s a cute song, but I needed that beat to JUMP so I could BOP, and it didn’t,” one person wrote. “I’m so disappointed.”
