Rick Ross Lists Florida Mansion at $6.5 Million
Rick Ross, the rapper and entrepreneur celebrated for his luxurious lifestyle and business ventures, has put his Southwest Ranches, Florida, estate on the market. While stepping away from this Florida property, the Mississippi-born mogul continues to maintain a sprawling residence in Georgia. This highlights the breadth of his multi-state real estate holdings.
Earlier this month, Ross listed his 14,000-square-foot estate through Sotheby’s International Realty. Situated in the prestigious Landmark Ranch Estates, the home occupies 2.348 acres of meticulously landscaped grounds. It blends high-end comfort with spaces designed for entertainment.
The estate offers a range of premium features:
- A private entrance leading to the residence
- Resort-style swimming pool ideal for gatherings
- Covered summer kitchen for outdoor cooking
- Expansive patios designed for entertaining
- Soundproof theater and custom bar
- Multiple office spaces plus a separate 2-bedroom guest house
Car enthusiasts will note the porte-cochère and a 9-car garage. The primary suite includes a bespoke closet, sitting area, bonus room, and spa-like bathroom. Over four years of ownership, Ross has upgraded the home. This includes a 2023 roof replacement and even embedding a Rolls-Royce emblem into the driveway. These changes reflect his affinity for luxury automobiles.
A Georgia Powerhouse
Ross’s real estate activity does not indicate a full exit from Florida. He also owns a mansion on Star Island in Miami Beach, purchased in 2023. Meanwhile, he continues to reside in his Georgia estate, “The Promise Land.” This grand residence features 109 rooms and the largest residential swimming pool in the United States. It ranks among the nation’s most impressive single-family homes.
Beyond real estate, Ross has recently been part of broader conversations in hip-hop regarding apologies and reconciliation. Gucci Mane publicly expressed regret for negative comments made in 2013, attributing them to a challenging period in his life. Reflecting on Ross’s response, Gucci said:
“I was super embarrassed and hurt by the things I said,” Gucci recalled, noting that Ross’s acceptance provided relief. “It was like a weight off my shoulders,” he added, emphasizing the importance of mending personal relationships within the music industry.
