Brooklyn’s electro-goth trailblazers Makes My Blood Dance (MMBD) are set to make this Halloween unforgettable with the release of their first full-length album Z3r02LGHT$p33D!. Pressed exclusively on vinyl in a limited run of 400 copies, the record represents the band’s boldest artistic leap yet, blending heavy metal, EDM, and punk attitude into a dark and cinematic sonic experience.

Produced by Mikal Blue (OneRepublic, Colbie Caillat) and Bret Mazur (Crazy Town), the album benefits from seasoned hands that give its chaotic edges both precision and punch. Across 10 tracks, fans can expect MMBD’s signature hybrid of crushing riffs, thundering beats, and gothic-electro atmospheres, including singles that have already made an impact. “Heavy Metal Armour” has surpassed 650K Spotify streams, while “Time and a Place” racked up nearly half a million YouTube views alongside a high-energy dance remix. A reimagined version of “Lately” featuring platinum icon Macy Gray is also on the way, scheduled for release in 2026.

But Z3r02LGHT$p33D! is not just an album—it is a collector’s artifact. Packaged with an exclusive collage poster, the release is designed to immerse listeners deeper into the MMBD universe, where music, fashion, and performance art collide.

Live performance remains the heartbeat of the project. Following extensive touring earlier this year with Powerman 5000, Julien-K, Josey Scott (Saliva), Hed PE, Adema, and Texas Hippie Coalition, the band will continue the momentum into late 2025. Highlights include support dates with Texas Hippie Coalition, a headlining vinyl release show at Rochester’s After Haunt Ball on November 1, and the launch of their own mini-festival, Z3r02LGHT$p33D! Fest, spotlighting underground and regional acts along the East Coast.

For MMBD, the album and tour reflect more than music—it is a cultural signal for what they call “beautiful freaks and glitch angels,” a community drawn to the fusion of metal power, EDM intensity, and goth-inspired spectacle.
