Solange is back with another stunning visual.

According to Complex, the multi-hyphenate artist recently released a short VHS film, Shakersss.mov. The film will be on display at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles from Feb. 16 to May 4 as part of the American Gurl: home—land exhibition. Knowles, who stars and directed the self-documented video. The film runs just over eight minutes long.

In addition to her behind-the-scenes work on the visual, Solange also penned a personal note to viewers about the symbiotic relationship of the film to water.

“Hold on to the people, places, and things that make you feel seen, held, and safe! And hold on to yourself when the tide is low,” Solange on the website.

“I made this lil film Shakersss for absolutely no reason other than a reminder to myself that light always reveals itself, and if you water the questions enough, answers will rise within you with unshakable faith.”

“Very excited to announce I’ve composed an original score for the New York City Ballet 🖤 choreography by Gianna Reisen’s score performed by the City Ballet Orchestra and soloist from my ensemble,” she wrote at the time.

This is not Solange’s first foray into the art world. In 2022, Solange made her debut as a composer at New York City Ballet’s Fashion Gala. The Grammy-Award-winning singer/songwriter was just the second Black woman to be named a composer for the storied ballet company.

Additionally, Solange has curated live performances at several museums including the Guggenheim Museum in New York City, the Getty Museum in Los Angeles, the Venice Biennale Foundation in Marfa, Texas, and the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg in Germany.
