Diddy Cast as ‘Monster’ in ‘Making of a Bad Boy’ Doc Preview
According to reports, Diddy is branded a “monster” in the newly released trailer for The Making of a Bad Boy.
Set to premiere on Peacock on January 14, the documentary examines the mogul’s controversial rise to fame and the shocking sexual assault allegations surrounding him, featuring interviews with several of his close associates. The documentary will spotlight figures like Ron “Amen-Ra” Lawrence, a former producer at Bad Boy; journalist Kim Osorio; ex-security detail Gene Deal; and vocalist Al B. Sure, who has a son with the late Kim Porter, the mother of Diddy’s child.
In one compelling moment, a commentator in the film condemns the mogul as a “monster,” while the documentary also unveils never-before-seen footage of Diddy enjoying a night out. A concealed voice in the trailer further notes, “I’ve been with Sean for quite a while and I’ve captured a lot of moments. Any time a studio or any rooms is red, he’s making love and sex. Some of the ones who went in the room, for sure they were underage.” The official description states: “Featuring never-before-seen footage and stories from those who know him best, Diddy: The Making of a Bad Boy sheds light on his childhood, rise to fame, and recent criminal allegations, challenging viewers to rethink everything they thought they knew about the mogul behind the music—and the mugshot.”
50 Cent’s Netflix Diddy Documentary Amidst New Allegations
Another documentary exploring the multiple sexual assault allegations against Diddy is on the horizon, this time from 50 Cent.
The rapper-turned-mogul has teamed up with Netflix to create a series focused on the rap icon. He recently confessed that assembling the project had become more challenging than expected. In a candid moment on GMA3: What You Need to Know, 50 shared, “It’s a difficult project. Because every day there’s new accusations coming out, it’s new things that happened. It’s become an octopus, with so many powers and so many things going on there.”
The third installment from Investigation Discovery—best known for the Nickelodeon series Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV—is currently in production. It is set to debut on Max later this year.
