Travis Scott Says He’s “Back in Album Mode”

Travis Scott is back in album mode, he says.

In a new interview with Cultured magazine, he tells famous artist George Condo that he will be back in New York soon to work on new music. and that he’s been making something new while on tour every day.

“I’m gonna be back in New York. I’m back in album mode. I’ve been working on music and shit every day on tour. When I’m doing the stadiums, because they’re sold out, I can see the music for what it is. I’m fucking amped,” says Travis.

He also spoke a bit on his music making process, saying “We’ve always approached everything from scratch, not doing loops. Taking music back to the real raw art. Cooking things instead of having them passed down.”

Earlier this week, the re-release of his Days Before Rodeo mixtape almost caused an upset at #1, nearly beating Sabrina Carpenter’s Short N Sweet album but ultimately falling short of 600 copies.
