Dvsn Earns RIAA Certifications for ‘Hallucinations’ and ‘With Me’
Dvsn, the R&B duo composed of vocalist Daniel Daley and producer Nineteen85, have gained two new plaques from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).
“Hallucinations” and “With Me” have been certified gold with more than 500,000 equivalent units sold each.
Both tracks appear on their debut album, Sept. 5, which released in March 2016 on OVO Sound/Warner Records.
The duo now has four awards from the RIAA. “Too Deep,” also lifted from Sept. 5, and “Think About Me,” from their sophomore effort Morning After, achieved gold status in November 2020.
In a celebratory post, dvsn mentioned that “Too Deep,” “Hallucinations” and “With Me” are “all songs that we released before getting a record deal that got plaques now.”
They expressed interest in earning an award for “The Line,” which was also released ahead of signing with Drake’s OVO Sound. “[It’s] the closest song to my heart,” Daley shared.

While dvsn waits for “The Line” to gain more streams (it currently has 14 million streams on Spotify alone), they are working on their fourth studio album.
According to dvsn, who is now managed by Love Renaissance (LVRN), the album will release later this year. Although there aren’t many details available at this time, dvsn has been in the studio working with Jermaine Dupri, Bryan-Michael Cox, Jagged Edge and Sean Garrett.
The untitled project will follow 2020’s A Muse in Her Feelings, which was reissued in January 2021 with a deluxe edition. A Muse in Her Feelings was among Rated R&B’s 30 Best R&B Albums of 2020 list.
